Mr. Guo Zi Wen


Guo Zi Wen is the founder of China Aoyuan Group and holds a Master Degree in Business Administration. In addition to his position as Chairman of Aoyuan International, he is also an Executive Director, the Chairman of the Board and the Chairman of the Nomination Committee of China Aoyuan Group. He is primarily responsible for the formulation of development strategies and guiding the Group’s project planning, financing and investment.

In 2001 Guo was honoured by the national media and China Real Estate Association as one of the Top 10 Persons in the Real Estate Industry. In 2004 he received the China Real Estate Special Contribution Award and the China Real Estate Theory Research Contribution Award and was also named one of the Top 10 Outstanding Real Estate Entrepreneurs in the PRC.

In 2008, Guo was named as one of the Top 10 Outstanding Entrepreneurs of the Past Three Decades in China Real Estate and was recognised as one of the Top 30 Leaders in Residential Construction in Guangdong. In 2010 he was honoured as Outstanding Leader at the Leaders of Real Estate of Guangdong event in Ten Golden Years and in 2011 Guo was named Capital Leader of Excellence. After receiving the Award of Outstanding Leaders for the Year in 2014, nominated by Nanfang Media and Peking University, he then went on to receive the 2015 Corporate Social Responsibility Outstanding Enterprise Award by Xinhuanet.com.

Mr. Jacky Chan

President of Aoyuan International

Jacky Chan is the Director and President of Aoyuan International as well as a Vice President of the Group. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the USA with a Bachelor Degree in Economics and has extensive experience in financial services and investor relations.

Jacky was formerly the Chief Investment Officer and Investor Relations Director of Zhong An Real Estate Limited and the Deputy Head and Responsible Officer of the capital markets department of Agile Property Holdings Limited. He joined the Group in October 2013 and is now primarily responsible for the operation and management of Aoyuan International, corporate finance, investor relations and other capital markets related affairs of the Group.

Mr. Adrian Liaw

Vice President of Aoyuan International
and Head of Development Australia

Adrian Liaw is a Director and Vice President of Aoyuan International Group, responsible for Aoyuan International’s Australian operations and projects. He has more than 20 years of experience in the property industry spanning all classes of real estate assets from development projects to passive income-generating assets such office buildings and shopping centres.

Mr Liaw studied a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Wollongong in New South Wales, Australia. He was formerly a partner of reputable Sydney law firm where he was intimately involved and managed legal teams in a number of significant property transactions. From a property development perspective, Adrian has extensive experience in acquisitions, finance and managing presales delivery

Mr. Ben Chen

Director of Aoyuan International

Ben Chen is a Director of Aoyuan International as well as an Assistant to the President of the China Aoyuan Group and Director of the Finance Centre. He graduated from Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou with a Bachelor Degree in Finance. He has served as an Audit Manager and General Manager of Finance in renowned companies such as Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu CPA Limited and Fantasia Holdings Group. Ben joined the Group in August 2014 and is now primarily responsible for the financial management of the company.
